use any fractional number.

they will be updated in the main window.

To use as a simple timer, press 'start' to start and 'stop' to stop it.
Pressing stop again will clear the display. Countdown entry field has to
be empty or pressing Start will start the countdown instead.
Settings
-
You can set the number of times sound is repeated after countdown.
You can set to use either internal speaker, a wav sound or an mp3 song.
You can change the 20 preset buttons to any countdown time you need.
The last option is to repeat countdowns continuously, this can be useful as
a simple break & stretch reminder. Try setting this option on and running
countdown of 15 or 20 minutes and stretching your hands, fingers, resting
your eyes every time countdown plays the sound.
Why?
-
I created this program mainly to time tea or cooking. Since different teas
take different time to brew properly, and obviously different types of food
also take varying times, it can be very useful to have handy presets. This
is especially useful for Gong-Fu type of tea preparation, where you have to
brew up to a dozen or more times and gradually increase the brewing time.
